![]() ![]() ![]() For example, if you're having accuracy issues (Uncanny Evasion, Blind, etc.), this will still hit reliably, as its a spell. Deals 125% Physical damage and sets Atrophy on a target.įor Str builds, it's incredibly handy to have a spell option in addition to all the standard melee options. Outside of that, the chicken running off might be annoying when you're trying to land the finishing blow, but I'm really not complaining. The combo is still there, it's just not total cheese anymore. They have been nerfing down the Chicken Claw + Ruptured Tendons combo for a while, so now the chicken runs a shorter distance and might stay still if left alone. It lasts longer than Knocked Down does, and can force the enemy to trigger stuff like Attacks of Opportunity, at the cost of not having an AoE or damage attached like Battle Stomp. This is a pretty solid CC option for physical builds, especially melee builds. Chickens will wildly run if there are characters on the opposing side near it, up to 6m in distance. Target is turned into a chicken for two turns. This is a good tool for melee-focused builds of all stripes. Bull Rush helps you position and does reasonable damage provided you manage to get a couple of targets. This also becomes a nice extra damage source for Sparks builds. That's pretty neat and makes it accessible to more builds, like Scoundrel and staffguys and such. In the Definitive Edition, Bull Rush was changed to scale with your weapon (a la Warfare skills) rather than scaling with Strength only. But if I don't cast it, I just see it sitting on my hotbar not being used and I know I'm making a bad play. It just takes too much of my real-life human time. It should always be on.īut +1 Retribution is such a teeny tiny advantage that I really don't have the patience to cast it all the time. If you have the Memory for it, and don't have plans to use Medusa Head, there's no cost and no downside. ![]() 0 AP and no conditions mean that it is always beneficial to have these on, for anyone. I kinda hate Bull Horns, from a minmax perspective. Bull Rush moves your character forward and hits every enemy in their path for 75% damage and sets Bleed. Bull Horns provides +1 Retribution for 4 turns and access to Bull Rush. Bull Rush Bleed resisted by Physical Armor. Bull Rush resisted by armor appropriate to the elemental. Bull Rush scales with weapon stat, weapon strength, weapon elemental attribute As such, while many characters will put points into Polymorph to grab a few useful spells, it is not well suited toward being the focal point of a build. Moreover, the tools it has are all useful, but don't come together into a cohesive whole. Polymorph has a wide variety of unique tools at its disposal, but only a few direct damage options. Polymorph skills scale with Str, and uniquely has Magical damage scaling off of Str in addition to the standard Physical damage. Polymorph skills are associated with Physical and Earth damage, two-part spells, terrain manipulation, elemental resistance, and flexibility. My opinion is not law, and both corrections and disagreements are welcome! Going alphabetically, so Polymorph is up next. No number ratings or stars or thumbs, this is all purely qualitative. Numbers are taken from the fextralife wiki, since I can't find any better resource. I've got too much time to kill, so I'm going to just go through every skill in the game and give them all a little review.
